• Progress Reporting, Tool Box Talks, and Participating in risk reviews and work site task risk assessments. • Responsible for all Work and authorising and the issue of permits within my area of responsibility • Ensuring by means of permit/worksite audits all permits are incompliance and BP Golden Rules, safety procedure performance measures and are strictly adhered to by all • Installation of piling, concrete foundations for piperack, buildings, tanks, slabs, road construction, erection and outfitting of steel frame buildings, piperacks, installation of bridges, • Co-ordinating construction input during the design phase in the form of constructability reviews • Ensure all aspects of Civil construction are close-out, documented, and auditable, including all necessary GOC, and all civil drawings are as-built and red-lined • Supervise of QA/QC inspection activities as per standards (BS, ASTM, ACI, API etc.) • Conducts of Civil/building works inspection as per standards and specifications - foundations, sewage, drainage lines, manholes, catch basins, roads, check underground services/drainages before backfill according to drawing etc. • Manhole, Open Drain leak test for sanitary, sewer, drainage & catch basins including head tests of gravity systems. Inspect water and Heating system pressure tests. • Materials receive inspection of various materials for civil works. • Conducts of civil inspection for all precast slabs, draw pit, gully, manhole, and beams for road construction, earth work and buildings. • Grouting inspection for concreting works, using seal joints materials, non-shrinkage grout, water stop, overlaps of bars, concrete joints etc. • Ensure conformity of construction activities as per BS standards & specifications. • Check drawings, isometric design and sign for construction engineer approval, preparation concrete mix design etc. • Conducts in all various QA/QC documentation including review and comment of Contractors ITP, method of statements and other related documents checking and approval all GOC forms. Systematic check concrete slump test conducts of making concrete cubes for tests, concrete temperatures, check times discharge of concrete on site according to ASTM C 94 etc. • Conducts fireproofing inspections for equipment steel structures. • Conducts of Completions Handover Team from the BP standpoint to work the completions and acceptance of the MC1’s (Mechanical Certifications) and SH1’s (System Hanover). • Systematic conduct compliance with pouring concrete in cold and hot weather as per Specifications (ACI).
