About me
SKILLS PROFILE
Computer and IT skills: During my BA and MSc University degrees, I have acquired an essential range of computing and IT skills. My current Microsoft Office skills include Word, Excel and Power Point programs along with Internet & E-mail;
Languages: Possessing an excellent level of English and Turkish as well as good knowledge of Russian has allowed me to better communicate with people speaking different languages. Being multi-lingual has also enabled me to make the most out of my BA and MSc studies using different sources and study materials in the said languages.
Team-working: In the course of my voluntary job activity, I have been involved in several team-working projects. These team-based projects have allowed me to essentially advance my team-working skills due to my experience in Digital Development and USAID where numerous projects and works were based on collective and group work. My success in MSc HRM modules such as Accounting and Financial Management and Managing People in Organizations which I completed with distinction was half due to group-based work and student projects.
Problem-solving: In the period of my employment and 2 university degrees, I have been practically involved in problem-solving and decision making processes. While uncertainties with the progress of the Digital Development-organized projects and hardships with the translation and interpretation of juristic English language materials in USAID, I have come up with important ideas which have been significant for dealing with the problems occurred and for further progress.
Communication: I have gained necessary communication skills from preparing presentations while my employment in Digital Development Social Union and USAID. Furthermore, stemming from the requirements of BA American Studies and MSc HRM I have designed several power point speeches and communicated the tasks and run classes both individually and as a group.
