Organize timely pickup and delivery of materials to job sites in conjunction with warehouse workers and contractors. Working with the planning department to update and calculate RSD (estimated time of delivery) (ETA) and TNM ("required on site") (RAS) dates for material. Checking stock availability of required materials for specific work packages to prevent unforeseen downtime. Generating Bills of Materials and Requisitions for Release of Goods (BOMs) for contractors to ensure uninterrupted supply and to control the correct release of materials for the scope of work. Drawing up requests for release of materials not included in the specification in conjunction with the engineering department. Maintaining an operational relationship with contractors to keep them informed in the progress of their work under the contract. Making necessary reports on materials issued. Coordinating individual items of equipment with warehouse personnel to ensure storage conditions are met. Jointly monitoring with purchasing and logistics departments the movement of materials to job sites and notifying all concerned. Reviewing and finalizing contractor summary specifications and coordinating material transfers. Expedited processing of critical deliveries in the face of material shortages or extreme material requirements. Full responsibility for a defined scope of work and tasks including metal fabrication processing, material data sheet, electrical equipment, etc. Analyze problems, find and propose solutions to complex logistics issues. Enter data into the MatMan system reflecting information on material packing slips. Entering material receipt information into the database to generate material receipt reports as well as excess, shortage, and spoilage reports. Process requisitions for ordering materials. Updating and replenishment of the inventory list. Ability to use the ProArc database to print purchase order information. Preparation of reports using MatMan database. Coordination of transportation for delivery of project materials and consumables.
