Led, motivated, energised and supported a Team of 26 Subsea Wells Team Leaders, Engineers, Supervisors, and discipline specialists to deliver safe, optimally completed, on time within budget Subsea Wells. Provided constructive Technical and Operational oversight & support to all Team members and other groups. Accountable for the Regional Subsea Wells Technical and Commercial aspects of all related Contracts in order to manage budgets, monitor spend and drive efficiencies related to the hardware quality and reliability. Through One Team engagement managed all associated Modu / Vessel Subsea planning and Installations. Through collaboration managed all Subsea Interfaces with Delivery, Drilling , Completion ,Construction and Operations Teams which included commissioning and Field start up. Single Point Accountable and approver for all associated new Engineering and Project requirements. Monitored ongoing Performance and Fedback any Lessons Learned in order to drive efficiency through continuous improvement which resulted in ‘Best in Class’ performance . Supported and promoted the nationalisation and further development programmes for both locals and expats. Liaised with Central and Regional Teams to identify resource planning and support for Operational and Engineering requirements. Lead FMECA/HAZID/HAZOP and incident investigations. (Excellence) • Successful installation of Serial number # 1 -Tethered BOP system (Wellhead Fatigue reduction system) • Reduced Subsea Wells Operational Uptime by up to 23 % on ACG Project Wells over 9 years BP Azerbaijan Subsea Lead Operations Engineer January 06- December 08 Caspian ACG Subsea Project Working as part of the ‘Deepwater Gunashli Project’ and Drilling & Completions teams in both Baku/UK for the still ongoing first ever Caspian Subsea development. Responsible for :- ¬ Subsea Completion Project Planning, Statement of Requirements, Hardware Delivery including Wellheads, XMT’s, IWOCS, Production Control systems, Manifolds, Completion Landing Strings and all other associated tooling deliverables and interfaces. ¬ System Factory Acceptance Testing /Site Integration Testing, planning and execution at main Subsea contractor’s facilities. Plan, coordinate and supervise all Site Receipt Testing in Baku prior to shipment offshore. Manage all Rig and BOP interfaces and upgrades with Drilling Contractor prior to equipment mobilisation for XMT, Manifold, and other System handling and installations. ¬ Supervised and executed XMT and Completion System installations as well as perform Well Jumper Metrology, Manifold Flexible Riser Tie-In’s, Rigid Flowline Jumper and flying lead preparation and installation. Cont’d ¬ Personnel management and Contractor facilities on day to day basis. Writing of Site and Operational procedures to ensure a safe and efficient offshore operation. Supervise Subsea Completion installation offshore. Lead Hazop / Hazid’s and Risk assessments.
