BP Azerbaijan Subsea Lead Operations Engineer January 06- December 08 Caspian ACG Subsea Project
Working as part of the ‘Deepwater Gunashli Project’ and Drilling & Completions teams in both Baku/UK for the still ongoing first ever Caspian Subsea development.
Responsible for :-
¬ Subsea Completion Project Planning, Statement of Requirements, Hardware Delivery including Wellheads, XMT’s, IWOCS, Production Control systems, Manifolds, Completion Landing Strings and all other associated tooling deliverables and interfaces.
¬ System Factory Acceptance Testing /Site Integration Testing, planning and execution at main Subsea contractor’s facilities. Plan, coordinate and supervise all Site Receipt Testing in Baku prior to shipment offshore. Manage all Rig and BOP interfaces and upgrades with Drilling Contractor prior to equipment mobilisation for XMT, Manifold, and other System handling and installations.
¬ Supervised and executed XMT and Completion System installations as well as perform Well Jumper Metrology, Manifold Flexible Riser Tie-In’s, Rigid Flowline Jumper and flying lead preparation and installation. Cont’d
